Holy shit.

I have just been accepted to The London School of Economics for a postgraduate degree in Public International Law (are those prepositions even correct? My language skillz fail me at the moment).

HOLY SHIT.

And I'm not sure I want to go because it's too expensive and potentialy prissy and I want to go to UCL

HO-LY SHI-IT.

I was also accepted to Nottingham (but I'm not going even though the classes sound awesome. I want London :D) and Queen Mary. And I'm waiting on King's College (conditional offer with the conditions as of yet unrevealed. WFT King's? I know what the condition will be anyway, I still have to sit the IELTS test even though I've got a recent Cambridge Proficiency Certificate :\ So just tell me!) and UCL. ARE YOU LISTENING UCL? PLZ SAY YES! ♥♥♥

Ahem.

This is really unexpected. Erm. I guess I'll accept and wait it out ("it" = UCL and King's making up their bloody minds, srsly, hurry).

AEK - MILAN: 1-0. PWNED.

Sigh.

I don't know if I've ever been happier as a football fan. It was Tuesday, November 21st 2006. A date no one will ever forget. And I was there. AEK, with a budget roughly equivalent to one quarter of Kaka's market value, won. AEK beat AC Milan. And not for one minute did I believe we would lose (oh who am I kidding? I was shitting myself for the first 15 minutes. But after that? All 60.000 of us knew victory would be ours.).

This was just the second victory for AEK in the Champions League (not this season. We have 2 wins period. Aren't we awesome? Answer: YES.), but it means we now have a very good chance of advancing to the next stage. And, after experiencing one of the best nights of my life at the Athens Olympic Stadium, with an atmosphere so festive and with love in the air, I decided to do an AEK picspam to honour this unique occasion.

A little teaser:

The Athens Olympic Stadium. Full of AEK fans who didn't stop singing for a minute.

AEK! AEK! AEK! We may be poor, but we have heart.Collapse )

Athens Law School: PWNED.

So. This is officially my first post as a Law School graduate. And, may I say:

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

Ahem.

I sat my final exam today: Administrative Law, Administrative Procedure, Constitutional Law and Human Rights Law. All together. See, in the final year of Law School we have subjects which are, basically, a composition of 4 or 5 previous similar subjects, all in one, only we study them in a more detailed fashion and we're more focused on case law as well as more sophisticated theoretical questions. Needless to say, it's HARD. But I passed!!!1!11!! And after 4 years of pain and suffering (I'm kidding. Kind of.), I finally have my degree. Bliss.

Cut for the excited ramblings of a LAW SCHOOL GRADUATE, WHOO HOO!!!!111!! And some Luis Figo *random*Collapse )

Sooo... An update. And seeing as the Champions League is starting this week (well, the qualifiers don't really count, do they?), I'll talk about -what else?- football.

Cut for the sad ramblings of a fanCollapse )

But also, PICSPAM! Gooner picspam, to be precise. Not really dial-up friendly, and a bit unusual.

Click for the picsCollapse )

So, AEK WON!!! 2-1. In Scotland. I'm terribly excited.

Pathetic first attempt at an lj-cut:Collapse )

Did it work?

edit: yep, it did. Nice.

Hello!

Well.

I decided to finally get an lj account so that I could join various communities and be able to actually post instead of lurking or posting anonymously. It seemed like the polite thing to do, anyway. I'm currently getting ready to resume studying for my law school exams. 1 subject left, out of 41 (or, rather, 43 because I'm weird and I've taken 2 extra subjects.). So close! And yet so far. About 10.000 pages too far. I guess I'll just grin and bear it. Or, you know, I'll just bitch and bear it.

Whatever works (although, to my experience, bitching almost always works. But only during exams, any other day I'm Miss Sunshine.).

I'll probably be updating regularly (if studying doesn't kill me, anyway). I'm off now to watch Hearts-AEK FC for the Champions League qualifiers. Fingers crossed for AEK. Hopefully we'll pull an Arsenal and secure the qualification from the first leg (even though we don't really have anyone talented enough to pull a Fabregas. Or a Gilberto. Or, even, an Alex Song. Gah.)

See you guys around.
